Naljorma Chatral A’dzé
Naljorma Chatral A’dzé has been a student of
Ngak’chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen
since 1997 and took
ordination in 2005. She is a sKu-mNyé practitioner
– with an enthusiasm for silent sitting. She takes a keen interest in Ngak’chang Rinpoche and
Khandro Déchen’s appreciation of history vis-à-vis literature
and the arts. She was once asked appreciatively—at Kalispell
airport—whether she was the actress who played Calamity Jane in
the NBO ‘Deadwood’ series. She has studied voice as an
absorbing passion since 1982 and finds that her love of singing has
been a natural foundation for her interest in yogic song, on
which she speaks in public. She takes lessons in horseriding, sheepdog
training, and has a great love of animals, and of roaming in wilderness areas
on horseback.
