The Aro Bristol Meditation Group meets on Tuesday evenings for talks, teachings and meditation practice. The group is lead by experienced ordained students from the Aro Tradition, and builds quickly from a core set of teachings on the fundamentals of meditation to encompass a broad spectrum of Buddhist meditation practice.

This Autumn, join us for a selection of teachings from a 'Lineage of Enlightened Women'. The Mother Essence Lineage is an all female lineage that traces its roots back to the arrival of Buddhism in Tibet in the 8th Century, but whose teachings are highly pertinent to those living a busy modern lifestyle in the West.

These classes are open to all - those with no experience of meditation, and those with extensive practice; those with no knowledge of Buddhism, and also committed practitioners.

Session two is titled 'The Three Vehicles of Buddhism' and explains the importance of understanding the structure of Buddhist practice. This session includes Dzogchen Teaching on the practice of suspension.
