TEACHERS
Ngala Rig’dzin Dorje has been teaching internationally for twenty years. He and his teaching partner Tsal’gyür Wangmo have personal students in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland and Poland. This is their first public event since moving to Italy from London.

LOCATION
Aro Ga’dzong (‘stronghold of joy, tasting the essence’) is the family home of Ngala Rig’dzin Dorje and Tsal’gyür Wangmo. It occupies a row of sixteenth century buildings on a south-facing slope of the Appenines in northern Toscana, Italy.

ACTIVITIES
The course will include a full programme of Buddhist teachings, group and private meditation, physical yogas, and Tantric art and craft -work. Th ere will be opportunities to enjoy the verdant beauty and typical attractions of the Tuscan mountains.

All retreats are non-smoking events. Smokers are welcome to attend, but in accordance with Nyingma teaching, and Vajrayana Buddhism in general, we require participants to desist from the smoking of tobacco for the entire duration of the retreat – both on or off the premises where retreats are held. Tobacco in any form should not be brought to the retreat.
